Called Universal today, decided if a cabana was $159 I would just book it, but for the last week in August its still $249 plus tax. There's only 3 of us, (husband and 17 year old son) if there were 6, then again, I'd book. I'd love to have one and that way can stay all day and be comfortable. I worry we'll book and the weather will be bad, although we have always been so lucky in August.
Guess I am trying to justify the cost. Never had a cabana at any of the parks before but always think it would be nice. There was plenty of availability so thinking I might wait to hear others experience of them first.
Anyone else booked at this price for just three people?

I am renting a Cabana at the beginning of August for $399.99 for 4 of us. I justified by knowing we have never been to a water park at night (they usually close before dark) and we want to experience it. I thought it would be a great way to have all the amenities the above poster talked about for 12 hours of comfort. I think it is actually a good deal with what you get. The teens like the idea of having a place to relax in between. DH is really good about spending money on vacation. As long as he is having a good time and going to enjoy it he is good.
