Trying to find some obituaries

I just saw on my alumni site that 2 former classmates have died. There were only 26 of us in the class so we were all close in school.
I was able to (possibly) have located their obituaries through obitsarchive, but of course you have to pay. It says the newspaper name, but one died in 2000.
Any ideas of how to see these? Is anyone a member by any chance that could get these for me.
I'm really saddened by this news.

I found the website below. It seems that they will charge you for each indvidual search and not make you join for a monthly fee. I put in my mother's name and it said I could get her obit for one dollar. Maybe this will help. Sorry to hear about your former classmates. Click on addtional products and you can select to search death records.

Thanks for the info. The only reason I wasn't willing to pay at obitsarchive is because I couldn't be certain that was their obituary or not. One had a very common name and the other was from a Texas newspaper with a married name. I'll have to keep looking.

You can get part of an obit from legacy.com I was able to find out enough there for free to piece together some stuff earlier this year. The whole thing usually costs money after a certain amount of time after the death, but you can get a few lines free.

Thanks, but no luck. One died in 2000 (she would have only been 37), the other maybe in 2002. The one that died in 2000, Sue, I think her obit was in the Nashua Telegraph. Thats what I was able to get from obitarchive. I can't get to the archive there unless I am a subscriber.

Have you tried obituaries.com? I found a classmate of mine there. :(
