and cannot find one that is only 10" tall. Any suggestions?

that slide open like a sliding glass door. My parents did that to there bedroom when they added on, that way they could put furniature under it.

Try Pella Window & Door if you have one in your area. Go to pella.com to find the locations.

You can have one made in any size, the most economical, (with just a 10" height), would probably be one that is inoperable, (fixed). Ask for a clad frame, they're all custom made to the size you require.

In a bathroom keep in mind that you will probably want tempered glass for safety. That way if it breaks it falls into harmless glass 'pebbles', that are not dangerous.

Actually, Tempered glass would be required by code for any area that has the danger of a person falling against it.

Many windows under 12" high will have to be custom made. They also may not operate when that small unless they are "awning" style. The glazing (tracks and structure) prohibit a few of the styles.

Marvin, Pella and Anderson may offer them at a price $$$.

If you do not need them to operate, have you thought of glass block instead?

Good Luck!

I was going to suggest glass block too! I think it looks nice, lets in light, and is easy care.

Look in the yellow pages for glaziers.
You most likely will need a custom made window
