Hi all,

First thanks everyone for this great forum and everyone's contributions to questions that have been asked and answered! I have googled, read as much of this thread as I can, and am in the middle of the UG 2012 Universal Section... They given touring plans for each park, but no touring plan for both on one day.

We will get there at least a half hour before the park opens. So, do we run for Harry, or run for RRR... both are must-dos for our family. Parks close at 7 during our visit, and we chose a Sunday for our visit. We are more into rides than shows, and will skip Olivanders. We are torn between hitting FJ first or RRR and leaving WWOHP until the end of the day. I was also wondering how close to closing we should leave it if we chose that option.

Thanks so much for any assistance anyone can give me!

I have done a couple 2 parks/1 day trips, so I hope this helps!
At opening, head straight to WWoHP. I would do Forbidden Journey, then Dragon Challenge, then Hippogriff. Followed by any other WWoHP browsing you would like to do. It's much better to do it all in one shot. I then usually go to Seuss Landing (you can skip if you don't have preschoolers) then SuperHero Island. By the time we finish these rides it is usually warm enough to do the water rides at Toon Lagoon. Explore Jurassic Park area. If you are not into shows, I would just skip the Lost Continent all together, as there are only 2 shows there. You can go over the bride from Jurassic Park to start heading back to Port of Entry without doing WWoHP and the rest again.

Then head over to USF. Go to RRR, followed by going straight to Mummy, then Men in Black and the Simpsons. I find these to be the busiest with most everything fairly easy to get on. I don't usually go during busy times of year but if I leave out most shows except 2 or 3 (Shrek is a big one for us) I can do it all with time to spare.
Hope you have a wonderful vacation and if you are lucky enough, have time to ride Forbidden Journey more than once!

Thanks so much for your reply! I think I'd be afraid to leave WWHP until the end of the day, and will have that in our back pocket in case we want a second ride... I guess we can always get EP if it seems too crazy so that we can get the most out of the day.

Sorry about the "warning" icon - stupid iPad!! LOL
