Planning for 2006, doesn't look we will have a choice and must go with the crowds Pres. week.

For those who have been before during this week: Is it most crowded leading into the Mond. holiday (people taking a 4 day weekend trip Fri-Mon)?
Or is it about equally crowded all week?

Trying to figure out if we should arrive Sun. that week and avoid most of the weekend leading into the holiday or come Friday night and brave the throngs.
We will have a full week so can do Fri-Fri, or Sun-Sun.

Any advice appreciated.

PS. Our other available time would be Easter, I've gotta believe that would be more crowds than Pres. week!

We were there during President's week in 2002. I read on the DIS boards that the crowds start arriving Friday afternoon, so we avoided the parks Sat. & Sun. and went to MGM on Monday (President's Day) and it was pretty crowded. We've never been there during Easter or Spring Break so I can only compare it to what I've seen. The rest of the week was fine though.~:p~

We have been at WDW during President's Week for the past 3 years. The biggest crowds have been from the Friday before the holiday to the holiday itself. Magic Kingdom is the worst on the Saturday of President's weekend as well as on the Monday. We have also found that the parks are not too crowded in the morning hours but extremely crowded in the afternoons. You will still have a great time, just be prepared for longer waits on the main attractions. Good luck and have a great trip!
