Trying to decide between avoiding EMH at DCA or use Magic Morning at Disneyland. WWYD?

We will be there a Monday-Wednesday at the end of June. We will not be staying onsite but will have Magic Morning through 3 day tickets. Unfortunately if we use the Magic Morning on Tuesday at Disneyland, it means that the only days available for us to do DCA are EMH days. Do you think having magic morning is more important or starting out at DCA on a non-EMH day?

Since you'll likely have 8AM regular openings during that time, I'd definitely use the MM on the Tuesday as with an early MM you can get a lot done. I'd make sure to be there early enough to be near the front of the line though to get as much out of that hour as you can. Then I'd take my chances on the 8AM opening at DCA - you will still get plenty done as long as you are at rope drop those days. There are far fewer people who have EMH than have MM and even fewer will make it for 7AM.

Of course it all depends on what your priorities are.

I agree with sherilaine, you'll be more productive with the early entry at DL. And after you've covered Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, you can head to Adventureland, Frontierland and Critter Country when the park officially opens and enjoy short waits for Indy, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder and Splash Mountain while the bulk of other guests head to the FP machines in Tomorrowland and attractions in Fantasyland. I love how it takes a while for lines to build on the back half of the park!

DCA is easy to hit all the big attractions with FP and watching the app for low waits. The exception is Toy Story, where FP isn't available and the wait is regularly 35-45 minutes. Try that one first thing, despite early entry, and consider anything under 40 minutes 'as good as it gets'. It's one of the few rides I'll actually wait 40 minutes for if we never get lucky enough to see it lower, it's just so fun, unique and competitive!

Have fun planning!

I agree with the others. Be at the front of the pack and use that MM!

It would depend how important FL is to you...specifically Peter Pan.
If it isn't...I would skip using the MM and I would be at DCA for rope drop. You have two other days where you can be a DL for rope drop on non EMH/MM days.

I think it depends on what your ride preferences are and how many of them need to be done early in the morning. You could also use the MM at DL, knock out one or two headliner rides there, and then head straight over to DCA.
