Hey all! :goodvibes

Our disneymoon will be our first of MANY trips to the wonderful world together. We have both been before (me - 15, DF- 4). But, this will be our first trip together (what better way than our wedding and disneymoon!)

This is what i want to do:

I want to have a picture taken each time we go over the years in the same spot. By doing this through the years we can watch our family grow and change. I thought this would be a cute idea, considering that DW is where our family will begin.

This is my problem:

We have the obvious: (castle, spaceshiop earth, sorcerer's hat, tree of life....but i want something a little bit more conspicuous)

Where should that spot be? Gimme your best ideas!! It has to be something that is pretty fixated and won't be moved our changed over the years.......hmmmmm......can't wait to see what your creative minds come up with!!!

This is such a wonderful idea! You're so creative! I may even borrow the idea from you. Maybe pick a spot in World Showcase at Epcot in one of the countries of your heritage? Or, something to do with where you are getting married... like SBP or the beach near the pavillion. I bet there are going to be so many great ideas on this thread!

We've got photos from our honeymoon (14 years ago) until present (with DS10 and DD8) inside cars at the Sci Fi.

We started taking pictures in front of the Pooh ride when DS was born and it has been neat because the text of the huge "book of Pooh" created a marker to show how the kids have grown.

Oh what a great idea! i think I may have to "borrow" this as well:thumbsup2 Hmmm in my case i would use the beach at the poly! It is where he proposed (yes i have 1 pic), where we are having our epics...and hopefully we will get a few wedding shots as well.

Is there someplace that is really special to the 2 of you?

Great ideas so far!

I have MANY special spots because I have been there so many times. He has only been four times when he was little, so he doesn't really remember anything. Plus, he is Doug, therefore he remembers nothing! :rotfl:

Anyways, this will be our first trip together, so we will be "creating" special spots as we go along. I was kinda thinking of something along Main Street USA, but nothing is really popping out in my mind as far as a spot.

I think I got an idea! :wizard:

The dedication plaque on Main Street USA!

What do you think? And terrible question i know.......but where exactly is it?

I would go with the obvious, Get a disney photographer on main street with the castle behind you. This has the advantage of being the most likely to always be there. There is a beatiful rose garden next to the castle, but that can get ripped up by a whim. I would also say in front of the sword and the stone near the merrygoround.

:figment:

Every time we're in Disney, my family and I have our picture taken in front of the troll in Norway because my dad is 100% Norwegian.

What about at MK before you walk into the park, by the ticket turnstiles there is that huge flower garden in front of the train station. That's a great Disney spot and different times of the year will probably yield different pictures. Good luck and what a wonderful idea, it makes me kind of misty eyed (in a sentimental way!):thumbsup2 I'm a sucker for traditions!

I would say that the rose garden is a good spot because the castle is in the background and it usually has beautiful flowers all year round. Plus there is mickey and minnie made out of different flowers!

My sister does this tradition where they have their picture taken at chef mickeys every time they go. It is a really cute tradition because we can see them change throughout the years.

Good Luck princess:

Every year my family goes to WDW, we have our picture taken in front of the train station where the Mickey flowers are, in front of the castle, and usually in front of the Walt and Mickey statue.

Also, another tradition we have is to get a Christmas ornament each time we go. :)
