Once the mouse has your money..................forget it:mad:

Heres the lay out:

We purchased a package for 6 day. then added 2 site only days, 2 different resi for I was adding a day on the front, and a day on the rear, for a total of 3 reservations, all paid in full.

Well we have decided to cut our vist short by one day and stop at Destin, Fl for 2 day at the beach (ya ya I know I dont like sand, but hey Im flexable, everyone else does) so I called the mouse house asking what CC I had put the last resi on, because since the resi has been paid off, I canceled a card (I had three cc, cutting back to 2) and I didnt know what card I used. So a refund (if I used the canceled card) would be impossable.

well I got the biggest run around trying to get someone to tell me what card was used.......no one would tell me. Since I went through a travel agent I was told that I would have to have her call the mouse and they can relay the information to her, and then she could tell me..................REALLY?

WOW! Im here and now and they still wont tell me what a PITA!:confused:

Any time you use a travel agent they "own" the reservation. Disney is correct, you have to deal through your TA.:confused3

Used the services of a travel agency 38 years ago for honeymoon and when there was an issue with our resort in Jamaica the agency had to deal with it. I was happy they handled it and expected no less so guess things are still the same.

Kinda sucks, :sad2:, that travel agent thing,,thats one reason we stop try'n to use T-agents.

Whatta ya mean you don't like the beach ?!?!? Sand between yer cheeks is god's way of lett'n ya know that yer really at the beach ! :thumbsup2

Hope ya get things worked out.

I would like to clarify, I don't think T-agents suck, I think Marty's situation sucks.
We don't use T-agents any more than we have to because it's too hard go thru a middle man in order to chande ressies. IMHO

That is one of the benefits of using a Travel agent. They get to deal with any challenges and who wants to be on hold with Disney forever anyway. Try calling DCL they wait times have been up to 12 minutes or more!
Just call your TA and ask them to find out what CC was used, Disney should be able to at least tell them the last 4 digits of the card.
Also, just curious... Since you say their is a possiblity that the card you used was canceled and it would be a hassel to get a refund, why don't you just ask your TA to have Disney just modify the date for that reservation? I don't know if next year's rates have been released yet (probably will be by mid June), but then you could already have something set up for next year and then you could always modify that date as well if you need too. I have done that many times, once I have a deposit down I usually let it ride becuase I know I'll be back sometime. :)

Yep and forget trying to get a AAA discount if booked thru an agent, central ressies won't even talk to you since you don't control that ressies, the TA does.
