Trying really hard to have an open mind about POR

We went in February for three nights. We had originally booked the Yacht Club but decided to change to POR. The cost for all three nights at POR was less than one at the Yacht Club. We usually stay at the Polynesian but could not justify spending all of that extra money this trip. While I did miss the Polynesian Concierge and hotel in general I also had a wonderful trip. I was concerned at first but am glad we did it. It was definitely worth saving the extra money. Relax and enjoy your trip.

I wish I could, but we are a family of five and I can't stay at any of those resorts without getting 2 rooms.

For the record, I'm pretty sure the deluxe rooms at the AKL accomodate 5 people, but if you couldn't swing the 199 CR AP rate, you probably can't swing an AKL Deluxe. The rack rate for regular season, pool view, deluxe room at AKL is $330, so Ap rate would be what, $230 plus tax?
