So, we are caught in the whole Midwest Airlines schedules changes (still haven't rebooked ourselves, but we will-soon). So hubby and I decide to take a later (cheaper) flight 1 day early. I call MS and what do ya know-there is availability in a value 1 bedroom on 12/13! Yay!

Except when the lady adds it she/the system/whatever screws up my check out date...I notice as soon as she tells me I have x number of points left for my 2008 use year (ah, no I have to borrow to complete this reservation). Right now they show me checking out 3 days too early.

I was on hold for awhile and then she asked if she could call me back, said there are system issues.

please tell me they can & will fix it!?!

Why is this trip to WDW starting to be such a pain in my backside this year? If it weren't a special trip for DD's 5th birthday I'd be ready to give up today.

Here I sit with no confirmed flight and 3 days missing from my reservation. Where did I go wrong?:confused3

OK, whining over now, I am just in a poor me (or stupid me) mood now.

Can I believe MS will fix this or did I just lose my room? Missing dates are Dec 21, 22 & 23--so I am sure the resorts are pretty well booked on those dates.

Make it work if you want it to work.....simple as that. Give MS a call and epxlain the best that you can!!

i dont remember the original thread, but if not mistaken i remember reading about another DISer who had something similar happen....or something where her room that she had booked disappeared in the system in error. if i recally correctly, she updated her post (ultimately getting the ressie back) and stated that DVC monitors all of the calls and that in her particular situation DVC was able to retrieve the conversation the DISer had with MS and easily learn that the error was made from MS - you may want to check into that as well

good luck

:goodvibes MS took care of it, it took a few stressful minutes, but within about 30 minutes it was resovled.

So, a stressful situation has turned out for the better ("meant to be" as I like to say)--I will be at WDW for an extra day and it will cost me a few more points for a room and a few more dollars for my airfare, but I think it will all be worth it.

Someone must have spread some :wizard: my way.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Glad it worked out for you. And that you could wig out here in the meantime.

Have a great trip. Disney in December is fantastic. I could live on the Avenue of Americas at night.
