This year our family (DW, DD and DS and me) decided to do all of the rides/attractions we have never done as a family together -- there are a few since the kids were younger when we went so doing HOP, COP, Tom Sawyer's island, among others. What rides have you not gone on (or not gone on recently) that you are looking forward to hitting again?

We had this same plan this last trip....figured 2 weeks would be enough to do it. Well, we still had plenty we have never done at all 4 parks.

This time we did get the Tiki Room, Tom Sawyers's island, and Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom at MK. Of the 3, we said that Tom Sawyer's Island and Tiki room were 1 and done attractions. However, we really like the Sorcerers game.

My favorites are the rides my family hates. So...I do a solo trip just to ride Carousel of Progress, the Tiki Room, Country Bears, Astro Orbiter and the Liberty Belle. I feel like I've 'won' something when I get to ride these rides.

We've been to WDW a bunch and have never done HOP. Kids don't care and my wife and I aren't into politics, so it holds little interest for us. We did Tom Sawyer once, no more. Same with the treehouse. We did Tiki room for the first time a few weeks ago. It was neat to see, but probably a one and done. COP we do once in a while, because I'm casually interested in post industrial revolution history. Country Bear Jamboree was a one and done.

Here are mine: Astro Orbiter, Liberty Belle, Stitch, Tea Cups (I can't do spinning!!!)

We've been quite a few times now and I've got the same plan for our fall trip this year. We norm focus on the rides but since we're going for our longest stay (9nts) and we've been often enough I want to try some new experiences (or new to our kids at least)...here's my list so far...
MK-main street vehicles and streetmosphere (dapper dans, etc..), new castle stage show, TS Island, Swiss family treehouse, Splash (we norm go in winter so norm not open, ds will finally be tall enough this year)
HS-streetmosphere (done before but missed last couple trips)
EP-new frozen stuff of course, new soarin
AK-train and rafikis, animal stuff back there. AK at night (kids haven't done yet) and hopefully ROL, we shall see about that one haha.

I'd really like to do Tom Sawyer Island and the treehouse again at MK, but I doubt during the next trip we will find time. We've got some newbies going with us and those attractions won't be high on the hit list. COP and HOP and Tiki are always must-dos though, haha!
At Epcot, I'm planning to make time for kidcot, agent P, and the films in the world showcase this year. At AK we haven't done flights of wonder in ages, but one of our companions is deathly afraid of birds, so that's probably out. I feel like we always do everything at HS, alternating some of the shows.

This past trip, we did Country Bear Jamboree, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Mickey's PhilharMagic, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel -- all of which we haven't done in a long time. Believe it or not, we've never been on the Liberty Square Riverboat. Maybe next time...

I skipped Everest last time and I am angry with myself over it. I haven't ridden it in years. I am super excited to ride it at night, so hopefully the late hours continue into next year :D

I genuinely love Muppets 3D and while I agree it needs an update pretty badly it's one I wouldn't miss out on. We saw Fantasmic for the first time our last trip and that was really exciting and wonderful. Maybe if there's some shows you've passed up before you might find out that they're something really spectacular.
New things we're looking forward to? Well we still haven't ridden 7DMT or TT. I think this time around we're going to finally make it happen.

I have been to Disney at least 15 times in my life and cannot recall ever going on the Jungle Cruise. I'm going solo for a few days (thank you work for scheduling a conference in Orlando) and it's on my list. My family also refuses to do HOP and COP so I think I will do those too.

Between 2014 and now we have done everything except tom sawyers island and the paddle wheel around it which we'll enjoy somewhere in the next week...

some things were nice, some were "why did we go to this" and some we've decided it was overdue to replace with something else (and smelled that way)..

I was told Soarin was a bird show. I'm not into the shows with bird tricks so I never bugged my mom to do it. My kids will not think Soarin is a bird show.

Agreed about the shows! Last fall was the first time I'd ever actually seen any of the animal shows at the Animal Kingdom. We got sucked into one (don't remember the name, but it was by Rafiki's Planet Watch) because it was seating right as we were about to leave the area, and it was fantastic. Wish we'd taken the time to see more of the little shows happening here and there.

I was pregnant last trip which made me go on attractions I otherwise would have skipped, like COP and IASM. I'm glad because DS really enjoyed them, but they're one and done for me personally. We also did our longest wait of the trip to go on Astro Orbiter, which he had been begging to go on since last trip. We rode it lit up at night and he loved it. We also did Rafiki's Planet Watch which was worth it mainly for the character meet and greets, the affection station was less interesting than the petting zoo area of our local zoo.
Next trip, assuming I'm not knocked up again, there's so much to make up for! All. The. Coasters. ToT, TT, FEA, new Soarin! And Dinosaur, and the Avatar rides assuming that actually opens on time (not going back until 2017).

We also want to try new to us restaurants - Garden Grill and Tiffins are at the top of my list.
