Trying new places... Need opinions please.

We have made our decisions concerning old favorites, but would like to try one or two new places. We are looking at the following three restaurants and would love any opinions from people who have dined at one or more of them.

Palio
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Portobello Yacht Club

We've dined at Palio and Portobello Yacht Club and we love them both. I think if I had to choose between the two I'd pick Portobello Yacht Club, but you really can't go wrong with either one.

we enjoyed palio - took the yacht over from beach club - they have strolling musicians who play disney selections - this is more family oriented than the other two you mentioned --- they have great pizza and salads if you want a lighter meal or want to spend less -- portobello would be my second choice --it is also a very good restaurant with great food but not as "cozy" as palio

Thank you both for the info! You remember reading things in the past, but not how long ago you read them. And sometimes a restaurant that was good three years ago has gone down hill, or the exact opposite can happen too.

We've done all 3 multiple times--but not recently. All 3 are fine retaurants and you really should try them all. I know Portobello reviews are hard to find, but there have been enough recent visitors to Palio and YSH that you should be getting more replies.

Of the three, we've only eaten at Portobello's. Hands down our favorite restaurant. We eat there every year. After we had our dd, we were nervous taking our at the time 2 year old with us but the staff was wonderful with her, brought her dough to play with and even sat and talked with her. It can be pricey but the food is outstanding as is their wine selection.

We (3 Adults) ate at the Yachtsman Steakhouse in October. It was the meal I was most looking forward to. We were all disappointed in our dinner. We all felt that the "sauces" etc. overwhelmed the steaks, and even the horseradish potatoes were overpowering. The meat could and should have stood more on its own merit.
The dining room is lovely and the staff were great, but we did not enjoy our meals. The concensus was that we would not be returning to the Yachtsmans Steakhouse.

We have ate at Portobello Yacht Club on our last 2 trips and loved it both times. We always start with there white pizza.

Portobello Yacht Club is outstanding.
