only thing it says is :

I was also able to get a 20/30/40 discount pin in my e-mail inbox this morning. However, in my case, I did not have to create a new e-mail address. I simply used my existing e-mail address from when I registered at the Disneyland web site last year when I booked a trip through WDTC. I have never been to Disney World though. I had already booked a trip (my first one) through a travel agent for later this year, and then they recommended using the My Disney Vacation feature on the Disney website to start planning my itineraries for the trip. I did so, but chose that I did not need accomodations or tickets (since I already had them). I received the pin two days later, today. I am so happy, because now I can afford the deluxe resort without going over budget.

how long between when you set up the itinerary and when you received the code? I set up my husbands yesterday and one for me on Monday and nothing yet.

I set up the new e-mail and new WDW account on the 29th and we had the pin on the 3rd.

so yesterday I went on with 2 of my emails and saved some offers. they are still sitting there. it has been 36 hours. today in both emails I got the get your Disney Planning DVD blah blah. Don't know if I should keep the offers or delete. I don't want that Summer Spectacular thing.... I already have 35% off my deluxe.... I do want the White Rabbit. I have 2 rooms booked, so that would be what I need to save more. Anyone gotten this planning DVD offer? What did you do? What WOULD you do?

I have done all the tricks and nothing yet. I have 3 emails and husband has 2 going. Our trip is already booked though, perhaps we should have waited a week or so longer? We ordered the DVD 3 weeks ago and nothing. I would really like to add another day but this is the only way we can do it!

Did you clear the cookies on your internet browser, then log into the disney website with a new email address?

Read this thread on Tuesday and did what the OP did...today I got the same pin code! The rabbit running with a clock and there was a 40% off pin for deluxe hotel. I called WDW and ran the numbers...not going to do it. I already have a good deal! Our trip is booked 7/4 - 7/10 and this pin does not apply to 7/4. The CM I talked to was great - she made a room only reservation and then a 5night package and I thought I was going to save $150 but then I realized my dining plan so it was only a savings of $75. I am not going to change. My original reservation is with AAA, waiting to talk to my travel agent, get her take on this...

I would like to THANK the OP , I had booked a AKLV for 11/22 thru 11/27 I followed the op's instruction and just like magic a pin code (Dont be late code) was in my new e-mail . I changed my dates to 11/21 thru 11/26 and saved almost $900.00

do you think a new email and changing my husband from "mike" to "michael" will help? I have a reservation already made in my name. I used the public 35% discount in March, but we have 4 rooms and another 5% on 4 rooms would be significant. I don't want to have a problem changing my reservation (my name) with a code in his name. I booked a gathering with my sister's family and my parents.

I actually recieved this after I changed my saved trip plans from staying offsite to interest in the Wilderness Lodge. Who knows if I will recieve anymore emails but I have gone to Disney many times and have explored the site way more times to mention but this is the first time I received anything back.

Okay so my question is, the 40% pin people are getting what is the difference from the special they are having now that they just continued to Oct. 2nd. Is their a difference?

I got my first ever pin code today! I called our TA, gave her the pin code, and she got the 35% discount for us! I'm thrilled silly. Saved us $400! We don't do the DP because my daughter and I don't eat that much worth of food. Just not a savings for us. But the resort discount is awesome! Thank you so much for the 'hint'!

Anyone looking for the 40% off deluxe pin. WDW just released some new public room only discounts 8/15/10-10/2/10.
Value and mods are 30% off.
Deluxe is 40% off !!! For the general public !!!
No need to wait for a pine code if you are going between 8/15/10-10/2/10 now !!!

When I book online using the main Disney World website tools I do not see the 30% discount. I want to stay at the moderate CBR. The dates for our vacation would be 8/24 - 9/1. I have not received a PIN but you say you do not need one. Where will I see the 30% discount? Do you have to call after you make your reservations to get the discounty? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

It depends on what your dates are...I got one 30% (deluxe rate) code for the summer dates, and I received a 40% (deluxe) code August through the end of the year...right now the sumer special is 25% for deluxe (which is what I am staying at)...so the 5% is not the much, but still a little better than the general public rate...what are your dates??
