We did this the last time we went and it really turned out great.

Everytime your child gets and autograph take a picture with whoever it is.
Then get a photo album with space for 2 pics per page (top and bottom)
Put the picture in the top spot and cut the auto out of the book and put it in the bottom slot. Our girls loved this.

Great idea!!

If I could find one of those with clear pages, such that the two sides go in back to back, I might even be able to solve my conundrum of those times they signed back to back in DDs first book!

I did sort of the same thing when we went 2 years ago (and plan on doing it again in 26 days!!!). Except I had the characters sign the right side of the autograph book and used 2 sided tape to put the picture we took on the left side. It worked out pretty good, but I'm sure it doesn't look as nice as yours!! My dd 5 still asks to look at her autograph book. It is fun to relive those memories!!

We did something similar on our last trip, I took down pieces of cardstock, appox 4X6 in size, and had the characters sign that and then put that in the slot by the picture.

We bought an autograph book at the POP store that had a clear plastic page on one side and the page for an autograph on the other.

My girls still love looking through theirs.

That is perfect. I'm so glad you mentioned that. We will be on the lookout when we buy ours!! :wave2:

We have created an autograph book in a sketch pad. We decorate one side with a picture and the other side for the autograph. One year, I even took a picture of a then hard to come by character, got it developed that night, went back the next day to get the autograph next to the picture :rotfl:

Then you HAVE to have coordinating big markers to go with the character :earboy2:

Now it is just "big kids" so carrying the larger book is not a big deal. Here are a couple of examples of what mine look like:

The characters love it... here I am sharing all of the pics and autographs with them and one of the greeters :rotfl:
