Try on my wedding dress???

So pretty!!! Howd you lose 40 lbs any tips you want to share? I am a weight watcher and so far so good. But any tips, please share!

Your dress is beautiful and still in style! Enjoy your anniversary!

Wow! You look incredible! I also like your dress, Congratulations on the weight loss.

So lovely!

And I adore your gown, absolutely adore it.

I wish I fit into my gown! I got pregnant on the honeymoon, gained in my waist area immediately, and so haven't been able to wear my gown that day! (I lost most of the babyweight, then gained it alll back, plus more, after DS turned 2, and haven't been able to get rid of it, ugh)

I love, love, love your dress:thumbsup2 I watch "Say Yes..." with DD all the time and was just saying the other day how I've never seen a dress on that show that I really liked and here on the DIS I have;)

You look great!
Love the dress
I have lost 20 -and I am worried about putting it back on.
How has the maintenance been?

Congratulations! That is awesome!!

I seriously doubt I will ever fit back into my wedding dress. :(

Thanks all for the kind words. It was just the kind of encouragement I needed. Isn't it funny that DIS friends always seem to say the right thing even if real life friends don't.

How pretty!

What did your little girl think?

She LOVED it! She ran to my jewelry box to find me earrings so I had to put on my pearls as well! She's such a princess! :bride:

In January I started running-for the first time in my life! I wanted to go back to Disney and I heard that Free Dining was going to coincide with the Wine & Dine Half. At first I was thinking of doing the 5K but ended up doing the Half Relay (I did the 4.8 mile portion). I used the race to convince DH that I needed to go back to Disney! It was a HUGE motivation to me. Once I found a race partner (here on the DIS) - I had to keep running, when I booked my room - I had to keep running, when we registered for the race - I had to keep running. If I didn't have those tangibles forcing me to stick with my goal I would have likely quit. Several times over.
In spring after losing 10 lbs running, I decided if I did weight watchers I'd probably lose more. It's funny how when you actually pay attention to what you're eating & how much that you can lose weight! So the other 30 has been done with running & WW.
I haven't done anything miraculous, it's been a little week by week, but track your point faithfully (I am now using a digital scale to weigh food and that's helping me be accurate) and add in as much exercise as you can.

I feel you! I lost my baby weight quickly after DS but it never went away after DD, then I packed on some more!

I love Say Yes! When my DD watches it with me we call it the Wedding Dress Show.

I am actually not at maintenance yet. I still have about 10 to lose. But when I do plateau I am relieved to find I can live on my 22 points and be satisfied (and do it without tracking too closely).

How fun that you put on your dress, all I wanted to say when I saw you thinking about it was YOU GO GIRL!!!

You look great, and kudos for you with your sticking with you exercise!! I swim and have lost some myself this year, but as I am almost 50, the weight has shifted about a bit, and is not looking all that glam--ifyou KWIM!!!!:lmao:

I've lost 35 by running and portion control.
