Try for same or different booking category if we want to be close together?

I'm getting closer to my 7 month windo for November and I'll be trying to book either two 2br and one studio or one 2 br and 3 studios at either BLT, BCV or BWV. My recon so far has me thinking that BLT is most feasible and I've found out that I can ask for a "traveling with" number to link our ressies if we ask to be close together. So here is my latest question -- based on the layout of BLT or BWV , should I try to get all our rooms with the same views or different views in order to have the best chance of being as close together as possible? For example, if I can get BWV would we have better chance of being all located on the same section of the same floor if we all have standard view? Or all have Boardwalk view? Or would I be better off trying for one of each? Not sure if that could maybe get us rooms across the hall from each other ( just trying to figure out how the views work in regard to the layout of the resort). Same situation for BLT? And I would think it doesn't matter for BCV because there is only one booking category. Hope this all makes sense and so if anyone can offer me advice I'm all ears! :earsgirl:

From what I have seen of standard view availability at BLT there is very small turnover daily so if you were to choose that you would most likely not end up near each other (other than you would all be on the first 5 floors). If you choose lakeview at BLT you could ask for rooms together and it would be possible if you were in the 2 bedroom and studio, with 3 studios unless you asked for the end of the same floor (first rooms on each side and the next one down) they would not be likely to be supper close to each other as there is at least 1 2-bedroom unit between any 2 studios so 3 would be spread out across the floor. If you had a combination of lakeview and theme park view then the rooms could be across from each other. From what I have seen theme park view and standard have the least turnover per night (partly because they are a smaller percentage of the resort) and you are least likely to end up near each other with rooms all from the same category (of those 2) due to the lack of rooms to pull from on any given day.

It's been a long time, but we had 4 BWV standard view villas and 1 preferred view villa that were quite near each other. The SVs were 1 2 bedroom and 3 studios, and the preferred was a studio just down the hall a bit. At AKV, our "travelling with" villas have always been close to each other. At AKV the 2 bedroom and the studio were exactly next to each other, another time I had 2 studios and they were just a bit apart, I think a 2 bedroom was between us.

I do think they'll try to give you what you want no matter where. Book the one you want most!

Statistically speaking, you'd have the best chance of being together if you book in the same category, and in a category with the most rooms.

At BLT, that would be Lake View. It has the most # of rooms. It would be hard to get SEVERAL (if any) standard view rooms, especially at 7 months.

At BWV, Preferred View for all of the rooms would be the easiest to get. I don't think BW View and Std. View are very close together. Preferred view and Standard might work well together. And BW view plus Preferred View might work well together. In addition, I think BW view will be hard to get at 7 months.

Good luck!
