Truth or Rumor? (or maybe wishful thinking?)

Is Wonders of Life opening in December or not? :confused3

I HOPE its true.
The prevailing info says Thanksgiving thru Jan. 1.

Other websites are reporting it will be.
They state that CM's are being trained and assigned.

Cranium Command
Body Wars
Making of Me
are the specific attractions mentioned as going to be open.

The WDW website still says WoL attractions will be closed, but that can't always be trusted in advance in these kinds if cases.
Time will tell. Fingers crossed!

There is a CM from Epcot who has flatly said that it WILL be open,
but she will not (for some reason) specifically state WHY she knows this.
And she got upset with me when I found it "uncomfortably strange" for her to never provide any further information.
:confused3

I copied this post and print it below FWIW:

Plans are for the Wonders of Life to be open for 5 weeks this year - beginning Thanksgiving through the end of the year.

I have so many guests tell me how much they miss Wonders. Hope many of you will be down to enjoy it during the holidays.

Best wishes.

THANX, Robo...So I guess we're still at the wishful thinking stage, but leaning a little more toward truth than rumor. lol My fingers are crossed too!
Hope someone will post when it is a sure thing. Wouldn't think they would need to be so secretive much longer..just a few weeks away now.

If it means anything, last year the week before Christmas we were able to enter the Wonders and ride Body Wars and walk thru other attractions.Hopefully it will be open for you guys this year.

It will be open. My father works on rides at Epcot and he told me the other day he had been working on Cranium Command. I'm leaving on the 17th can't wait to go. :cool1:

WoL was open last holiday season and I have to warn you it was badly dated and in need of a lot of cosmetic work...unless that's been done, it might be kind of a disappointment to see it looking shabby. The good part was that no one was going back there so it was a vast space for crowd escape, all the attractions that were open were walk-on, and the CM's were so pleased to have guests to interact with that my son got all kinds of attention :)

One CM I spoke with told me that Disney's been in talks for new sponsorship for WoL but no one's taken the bait.

On the Epcot maps in May, WoL wasn't even shown as being there! Very weird!

Doesn't seem "weird" to me.

Would YOU want to have to answer to X-million guests who walked all the way back there to see what the map had listed... but was CLOSED every day?

;)

Yep. It's going to be open for the holiday season. Just read about it on Mouseplanet.com.
