trunki's are they good/useful?

hi

i have seen a ltd ed trunki "frieda" the cow and would like to know other peoples experiences with them? i think this would be a great idea for my 5yr old daughter when we go in sept - for carrying her bits and bobs - ds, teddy, colouring etc.

Hiya - they do look fun - but I'm not keen . My neice has a trunki - it is heavy and has to have a strap to keep it really secure. Also - it doesn't stack easily on their parents wheeled luggage - You KNOOOOOOW that you will be the one carrying it in the end......

sorry - to be negative - i'm sure others will love them....

well i have taken the plung and got my daughter one, i will also have her 8yr old brother who will probably argue over it with her, but it will be handy that she can sit on it etc. the one i ordered is the 2008 updated model with the better catches, teddy bear straps etc.

our eldest ds has one and loves it, he filled it with what he wanted to take to wdw. mad ehim feel very independent having his own little case. was also grea having him ride it around the airport and that long walk down to the gate etc they are very easy to pull along even with a child on the back and meant no whinging child cause the walk was too far!!
