I would to say that I am so sorry for any grief that I may have caused any of you! I had no idea that this subject comes up about every six months. I am still pretty new here. I had no idea that my post would have caused so much grief.

I have taken the time to read every post. I must say that I did enjoy the cartoon. Now for the lighter side to all of this. Feeling so bad for what I have done. I did place a call on Friday to WDW and ask to speak to a higher up. I did ask what the procedure is for cleaning the room before a new guest is checked in. I did come out and ask if blanket and comforter is also change as well. According to WDW they are changed between every guess. I was also told that was entering your room. A guest should inspect there room. If they have any concerns they may go to the front desk and request for house cleaning to come into the room right away. I know that Disney does have high standards, even with the employee's and there dress code.

Again I ask for forgiveness and would ask if we could please burry this!

IMO, there is no need to be sorry. Your topic is a very valid one - at WDW hotels, and hotels throughout the world.

You should not have to apologize for asking a simple question on the boards. There are many topics that come up over and over again. This is always going to happen because we have new members joining everyday.

Thanks for the post - and I hope you have a great holiday weekend....

You have no reason to be sorry for your post. Even though I didn't post on the thread I truly did enjoy reading all the comments. Many made me laugh.

And, thank you for calling to ask Disney about changing the blankets and comforters between guests. It is nice to know that is policy...now the only question is...does housekeeping follow policy?

Ah, but that is yet another thread. Again, don't ever feel bad about posting a question...that is what these boards are all about.

MSDisney23....no need to be sorry ...many many posts come up every few months because there are always new people joining the boards.....

Now if you had asked about putting 5 people in a studio or 1 bedroom Villa on the DVC board you might have been publically flogged...;) ;)

I too enjoyed reading the post as my MIL and I had a whole discussion about it on our last visit a few weeks ago!

:)

MsDisney,

IMHO, there's no reason for you to apologize. Apparently, many felt like chatting about it - in fact, I think that's the purpose of a discussion board. :D

Who cares if it's been discussed before? It takes one second to switch to another thread.

Yes, MsDisney23...no need to be sorry! Maybe I missed this as an on-going topic?...I've only read postings on this subject a couple of times.
Zurgswife, LOL!:D , yes, the "5" subject is a real "hot potato"!

LOL! Too funny!

Another thing not to ask: Can an offsite guest park in a resort parking lot and...

I can't even bare to finish typing the question! :p

MsDisney 23....No need to be sorry for your post. How were you suppose to know that this has been brought up before!!

Actually I always enjoy reading everyone's opinions on controversial subjects around here!!!

Have a wonderful day!:D

No need to be sorry! I actually appreciate you asking that question. I didn't post on the thread, but did read it. :)

I think this is one of the most helpful posts, because it can help (or not) some people with health issues or concerns to better protect themselves when staying at a WDW resort or any other place. I left Florida with a little condition that the Dr. thinks I picked up there, and wish I had the knowledge before I went, or after I returned, to ease my handling of the situation.

People who may be grossed out don't have to read it. I was grossed out, but just kept on reading.

It is very important info. Don't apologize. It makes us all more educated consumers and smarter travelers.

Oh please - DON'T apologize! I was sitting here cruising the boards - feeling very down - and I saw this thread so I did a search on your name to find the original thread...

Well - I can't even remember the last time I've laughed SO hard - particularly with the comments on page 6.. I have tears streaming down my face!!!!!!

Thanks for posting the original thread.. It really gave me the lift I needed tonight! :)

I thought it was a valid post. Now everyone can be made aware that Disney caters to a higher standard where this is concerned and that no one has to worry about it. Don't let the fanatics get you down. Now the rest of us know and can feel comfortable when we arrive. Have a good one!

Don't be sorry! :) I thought it was a great thread and I'm sorry to see it closed. :( I'm one of those freaky germ people who always puts the comforters in the closet! ;) I don't even let my kids walk barefoot in the room! LOL :)

Hi
Didn't see original post...was at WDW.
Personally saw on several days comforters in the hallways with sheets etc when housekeeping was cleaning rooms. So at least at GF they follow the rules.
:D

Don't worry...it's just something I didn't even think about.:bounce:

Like everyone has said, no need to apologize. I haven't been a member very long and this was the first time I read about that subject. I'm so relieved to find out that Disney does change the comforter and blanket with every new guest. Thanks for the info.

I loved your thread--informative--interesting--and gave me a few laughs too. We live in a country where we can post responses about soiled comforters. And if a few get upset, it's their given right to get off and click on another topic which suits them.
You're O.K. in my book! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
All the best, Wilma;)

No need to apologize. This was a good post and obviously a lot of people had something to say on the subject. That's why this is called The DIS Discussion Forum! Annmarie
