I read on another disney related type board someone was saying that since the new MYW tickets adopted Disneyquest as a "plus" that the OLD park hopper tickets with "pluses" still on them could be used at DQ as one of the plusses.

True or false?

No I don't think this is true. Some of the old park hoppers had disneyquest as a plus option but the ticket specified disneyquest was included on the back, any others would not give you admission. I can't imagine this would change as the ticket would have been bought in the knowledge that disneyquest would not be included. Anyone else is free to correct me if wrong

As far as I am aware, once the park days have been used up on the hopper pass, the plusses are no longer valid either. Is that the case - maybe someone can confirm?

We used plusses on old hopper passes to get into the water parks, even after all the park days had been used.

Disneyquest used to be one of the 'plus' features, then they took it off the list. If your old hopper didn't have them on before, I doubt they'd work now.

I know that if you had days left on old park hopper tickets from before DAK was opened you could not use them at DAK when you went back so I'm pretty sure that if the old tickets did not have DQ on them as a plus you still can't use them for DQ unless DW is willing to let you pay for an upgrade [if one is even available for pluses].

From everything I've read, it's false. DQ cannot be used as a plus if it wasn't originally on your ticket.

This is definitely false. In the past we typically bought 7 day hoppers which included 4 plus days. We usually use 2 - 3 each trip, so we've got about 10 tickets with a total of 16 plus days yet. MYM tickets we're a great thing for us, since we don't need anymore plusses. We'll be using the leftovers for the next 2 trips, as we've done in the past.

It's definately false. The old tickets did not include DQ, therefore you cannot use them at DQ. Only the new MYW tickets with the "options" may be used at DQ. The pluses do not expire on the old tickets, doesn't matter if there's any park days left on them or not.

That's what I thought! Thought it was strange that they were telling people "remember" since DQ is now a plus that the old park hopper plusses can be used there too... didn't sound right to me!
