True Cost of 'Free" Dining

llqool, you just go right on ahead and think out loud. :thumbsup2 Even better than learning from our mistakes is learning from others experiences IMHO.

I did not count the 4 one day tickets we had to buy for the DP because we will turn them in toward our next AP's so it will really be a wash for us. For people who will not be going so often it might well be an added expense.

The only worry I have about the DP is if I will be very hungry cause hot weather takes my appetite away but I am also worried about gaining weight with all the 'free' food. Now, that would be an expense I would not be willing to pay!! I have lost over 90 pounds so far and it has been so hard to lose it and even harder to keep it off that I am truly a bit scared. :sad2:

I felt that the DDP was a good value for two adults, so I booked it for this fall for DH and myself for the F & W. We always eat one good meal per day anyway, so I figure I am paying $40 per day for this plan(the extra cost of the room), a real value for us with tip included. We have AP's, and will use the tickets we have to purchase for next year's APs, so that's not included. The only difference for us is that we saved our DVC points for a week's vacation at Christmas, so I get an extra trip! :dance3:
