I had a dream about it last night.......how scary is that?

At first, it was all closed down but we were somewhere looking at the ride itself and there was nothing there. Then, later on, it had all been refurbished and re-opened and it was totally different than it used to be.

I want to go back now!

I LOVE IASW! My very first Disney memory is of Small World at DL in 1971. I was five, and that was the best ride I'd ever been on- loved all the dolls from different nations, loved the song, loved the boats, loved the topiary animals, loved the clocktower front of the building!!! I think my poor mom and dad had to take me on it over and over- and that was in the days of E-tickets for rides!

I was SO disappointed last November when we went and it was closed- we will be at WDW this Oct- Nov, and I think I'll be dragging DH and DD on IASW at least three times to make up for last year.

It is may absolute FAVORITE ride. Granted I haven't been ther for a number of years but I can't wait to ride it! Especially now that I have kids (who I know will love it!!) I'll probably shed a tear or two

I absolutely love IASW!!! I was devastated that it was closed on our last trip and just can't wait for May to get here to see the new spruced up version (although I hope there aren't any real changes)!!!

Love it, love it! I love the cheerfulness of it, I love all the tiny kids watching it from the boats, I never resent the song playing permanently in the back of my mind. (Honestly, that song is surely the king of earworms.)

I started a happy tradition some years ago when I convinced my best friend to join me at WDW, and as I was buying a last something along Main Street USA, she saw a weensy girl, no older than 2 1/2, skipping along and singing the highlights of IASW. She just melted -- cute!!

Does anyone know when it reopens? Spring 2005 isn't too clear. We're going the end of April and I am really hoping that it will be open.

IASW has always been one of my favorites. I was very disappointed in May when it was closed for repairs. I wanted to share this ride with DS and DD. It was one of the first rides that we rode in 1976 which was my first trip. We had a book and record set that we played over and over once we got home. We're going back in May of this year and I'm looking forward to riding it again.

I like going on the ride, but only go one time during our trip. I remember my mom taking my brother and I on IASW every time we go to DL and it was fun.

LOVE IT!! We were able to see it last April, the day before it closed for rehab. i can't wait to see it next trip (hopefully October!) Going from "room to room" (or "scene to scene") amazes me. A big favorite.

I think I can beat most of you. I first went on IASW in 1964 at the World's Fair in NYC. It always brings back fond memories for me and I never miss going on it at WDW (if it's not in rehab )

I am right there with you all! Very disappointed it was in rahab in June. We'll make up for it this December though!!

I IASW!! It was the first ride I ever went on in Disney and I always have to go on the ride! I was sooo upset when it was closed the last 2 times I went but drove everyone crazy singing the song the whole trip!

I've loved small world since I first saw it at the World's Fair in NYC. It seemed sad to see it closed last summer. Can't wait to get back on it in July and see if it looks differently.

I've only been to WDW once so I haven't been on WDW's IASW. But I LOVE Disneyland's IASW! Especially at Christmas time when it's decorated with a ton of lights and decorations on the inside and outside. It's very beautiful looking.

(except the water in it...maybe it should be changed once in awhile...I wonder what the new IASW will look like?)

I think I love it because of my own childhood memories. Now I've had the joy of watching my DD(15) and DS(6) enjoy it as well. It's classic Disney.
