I have twins in my class and can't tell them apart so I call them by their last name.

Lea Ann, Lea Ann, Lea Ann! My SO's twin nieces would think you're the devil incarnate for not being able to tell them apart. They don't like being called twins either. Have you thought of name tags for the entire class for a couple of days just so you can tell the twins apart?

My son's scout troop has one set of identical twins and there is a set of identical twins in the cub scout pack (whose brother in a member of the troop). Luckily the older two twins have taken to wearing different frames for their glasses.
