thanks so much, it seems like it's never the RIGHT one for us. The first ones games are too girls for DS5, the second one would work......but I'm sure he wouldn't like a "honeydew" starter kit and the girlish case.

Thanks for passing this deal on to us. We've been looking for a good deal that doesn't involve getting up early next Friday. I chose the 2nd deal because I thought ds would enjoy those games. Hopefully he won't mind the color of the case.

Well, it is a good deal, but I have to say I don't like any of the accessories or games. I bought one a couple of months ago, but I'm always on the look out for a better deal, unfortunately, while the price is right the stuff is not, cause, instore or online, it's just too "girly" for my 7 yo boy.

Did you see the 2nd option that was only available on-line. The games were monkey ball and sonic. Those are games for a boy or girl. The honeydew case is not a good color though. But we already have a black case from an old ds, so the case is not an issue for us.

You should be able to switch the case for another color in store, just make sure you keep your invoice.

I thought this was a good deal. However, my son ONLY wants a red DS. I asked him what if Santa could only bring blue. His response, well the elves can make whatever color you want. Oh well, keeping my eyes open for a red DS deal.

Walmart has a DS Lite bundle deal online (I think in store too). Pick your color of DS, 2 games (one of the choices is Rabbids TV Party) and accessory kit (bigger accessory kit is additional 8.00). Typical package price is 149.00.

Not too bad a deal. Has 0.97 shipping too!

Walmart also has a bundle deal for the dsi. System, accessory pack & 2 games for $189, down from $219. I am torn, I had been planning to get DS just the plain DS but he says he really wants the DSi. Ugh, decisions & money I really didn't want to all spend on one gift. I do think he'd like it though.

I saw that Walmart deal this morning, but other than the Rabbids game, we couldn't find another game that ds would like. It's a good deal if you can find another game though. Can't beat that shipping! I paid a total of $159.11 for the Toys R Us deal. $142.96 for the ds lite kit, plus $11.31 tax and $4.84 in shipping charges.
