Has anyone had experience using a Crow Walker boot (or something similar) while trying to get on various attractions, particularly ones with a moving walkway or low seating? My Mom will be at the World for the first time needing to use one on her right foot and is concerned about "wasting our time" waiting for a ride only to figure out she can't get on or worse cause the ride to stop and be evacuated. She has a personal wheelchair* for getting around the parks and resort areas but is capable of taking about 10-15 steps on her own/with one of us helping to steady her.
Specific attractions she's already concerned about include Peter Pan, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth, Soarin' (could she keep the boot on or does it have to come off?), Jungle Cruise, Splash Mountain, Pirates, Gran Fiesta Tour, and any others we haven't thought of that may be difficult. We still have 50-some days to figure it all out. Thanks for any help!
*If anyone saw my earlier thread, thanks for the input! The DIS talked Dad into getting her one for the trip instead of renting on-site every day.
