Just so you know......everything you just typed......are to fixed symptoms of a buggy computer....not a buggy web site. It has been my experience, that disney web sites run very well when end user hardware and software is working as expected. Disney does NOT have crappy web sites, contrary to what the non IT professionals on these boards would have you believe.
That is a possibility I won't claim that any of my computer's are absolutely top-of-the-line most up-to-date. However a lot of them have very good reputations such as my relatively new iPad and the type of phone that I use and some of the other Hardware that I use. Yet I still had problems with those machines.
Why does Disney say that THEY have problems with certain types of machines and with certain common web browsers?
Why don't other major business sites have similar problems?. Why do they all seem to be able to talk just fine with the computers that use them? Can you imagine what type of business
Amazon would have, if people had so many problems, and then every time they called up Amazon they were told oh it was just your machine that is not talking well with us. Not our fault.
And how do you explain some of these really strange things like the fact that one time I tried to make a reservation for someone who is from South Korea. But when I went to list the International location they were from the Disney website ONLY showed up with North Korea. This was on the drop-down menu form the Disney website. South Korea just was not on the list. Not next to North Korea, not at the top, not at the bottom, not listed under Korea, not listed under Republic of Korea not listed anywhere. So I called up the Disney member services. The cast member looked on her computer and said oh yes we have South Korea listed it's right under North Korea. Well I'm sure that is the case on their computer but it wasn't on my computer when my computer was communicating with their computers.
The fact is not everyone has top-of-the-line new clean completely up-to-date computers. They should still be able to talk with the website using any typical browser from any typical machine and have no problems.
All of the suggestions I posted are things that Disney suggests and puts out for people. And despite doing that I can tell you their program still, often, does not communicate well or run well.
