trouble with stairs/steps & rides/shows

last time i was at universal on my last day a lovely attendant at animal actors told me because i was on crutches and had trouble with stairs/steps i should have gone to guest services and informed them and they would have given me a pass/badge for the rides so i did'nt have to do stairs, can anyone elaborate or have any info on this, thanks in advance
