My dh is the type that likes stuff to "do" on vacation. For our honeymoon, we were really considering WDW -- but we got talked out of it by mortal fools who said we needed to go somewhere we could "relax" for a week. So we did -- a lovely place, wide open beach, beautiful easy ocean waters.... dh went nuts. No big waves to ride? No boardwalk to browse? Sports? Anything?
We finally got down to WDW 3 yrs later for a quick wkend trip -- he had never been to Epcot. We both loved it. Then, 4 yrs after that, we took our two boys with us for a Christmas family reunion with my family, courtesy of my
DVC sister. That's when the bug bit us (something about those OKW accommodations, the xmas season, the WDW atmosphere, and sharing it with our 2 sons, aged 3 and 2) -- if that doesn't sway you, nuthin' will! So the next October we were there again... and dh says, "Hey, what are these ads on the tv about DVC... it's a rainy day... whaddya say we "take the tour" ?"

Rest is history -- a contract and add-on and one daughter later, and we're a DVC Disney-lovin' family of 5.
Does DH plan like I do? Heck no. Does DH visit boards and keep up with the WDW info? Nah. But then, does DH need to? No again -- he's got ME to do that for him! And does DH enjoy our Disney trips? Oh you betcha. I tihkn I finally realized how he felt when were were discussing our plans for the next trip. I asked each family member how they wanted to spend the trip (bring along family, where to stay, etc.) His response: I don't care which resort, really -- I just want to stay as LONG as possible.
Yup. He's a keeper!
