Trouble with DVC website?

Anyone else having trouble logging on to the website? I've used it for years, but recently when I signed on it took me to a "registration" screen where I needed to enter my DVC ID and pin number. Now, luckily, I still had these from when they mailed them to us a couple years ago, but the site tells me they are invalid. Did I miss something? Were new numbers mailed out?

Anybody know who I contact about this? I'm sure if I call Member Services they won't have a clue.

Thanks.

I just tried it and it worked fine. What are you using for a URL to get there? Someone who recently had the same trouble as you describe was apparently using an old one.

I use www.dvcmember.com

That URL automatically redirects me to the disney go address with about a bazillion characters in it, but it never gives me problems when I log in - as long as I don't make any typos, LOL.

Best wishes -

Every so often it asks me to reenter my info, as you listed, and I have to call MS to have my access reset. They don't know why it happens, but I get the feeling that I am not the only one who calls for this.

Every so often an online survey pops up and I do add this comment as it's regarding DVC website.

Nope, just used your link, CarolMN, and got the same results. I will call MS as you suggest, bavaria.

Same problem here, synonymous! I find it interesting because when I go to the site, my user name and password are already filled in (I saved it for future visits so I wouldn't have to re-type it everytime) and the member website always throws a message back that the username and/or password is invalid....so then I tried re-entering all the info. again (member id, etc.) and it will not recognize me. :confused3

Guess I'll be calling member services, too! Just wanted to add another, "me too" to your post so you know you're not alone! ;)

I had a similar problem several weeks ago. It turn out that somehow my computer settings were changed so that it would not allow me to log on to the member site or disney direct. Once I reset my computer I was okay.

Sounds like the same problem as me, Pluto.

Nanajo, what do you mean by "reset" your computer? Deleting the temporary files? Restoring an old Windows save point?

BINGO!! Thanks Nanajo.

Synonymous, you may have a "high" security setting, or a firewall may be blocking the site. If you use IE, try setting the cookies to "always allow" for go.com and under security, list go.com as a "trusted site"

Thanks Chuck. "I" actually did not reset my computer my DD the programer did. But she said to make sure they were listed as a trusted site.

Okay, thanks, I got it now. My security settings were "custom," so I just reset it to medium and I'm in. Thanks.
