I called last Monday (at our 90 day mark) and got all the ADRs I wanted :cool1: ....except for 1.

I tried to book Chef Mickey's for 08/02, which the last day of our trip. But there are no openings AT ALL for breakfast. I've called back a couple of times and still the same story.

All CMs I talk to agree that this is really strange.

We do have Chef Mickey's booked for breakfast for earlier in the trip, is there something in the ADR system that keeps you from booking a restaurant more than once??

Any ideas??

I think Chef Mickey's was one of the restaurants you were able to book 180 days out until very recently. So maybe this date booked up before they made the switch.

The same thing happened to me today. I could not get any reservation for Chef Mickey for that day either. Mine was for dinner but the CM tried everything she checked from 6 to 9 and she could not find anything, she said it was really strange and to call back again tomorrow. Hope we can find one, sending you some pixie dust:wizard:

There seems to be an issue with that day. Chef Mickey and 1900 Park Fare were showing completely sold out for all party sizes for both breakfast and dinner for August 2nd. I had called on Saturday, which was the 90 day mark, for someone and that is what I was told.

All restaurants can be reserved 90 days in advance. When Disney first changed their dining back to 90 days Chef Mickey and Cinderella's were left at 180 days but only until June 19th. All reservations for them after June 19 switched to the 90 day rule.

Ohana is also "sold out" for breakfast, but Crystal Palace was available.

Really weird. :confused3

I have Chefs de France booked for both lunch and dinner, so its possible to have the same restaurant booked for more than one day.

Today was my day for ADR's as well. I check-in on the 2nd so I didn't have any ADR's for the 2nd but when I asked for GF afternoon tea on August 7th, it was completely booked. Same thing for the 8th. But I was able to get a 10:30am (the time I wanted) ADR for Chef Mickey's for August 7th. I then called back in the afternoon to ask about tea and got a 2:10pm ADR for Tea on the 7th. Go figure! :goodvibes:

I assumed you tried to call back today, and it was still out. Today is the 90-day mark from August 2nd. Some popular places only have a small number of tables released for ADRs during the +10 period, with the rest released at the exact 90 day mark.

If they were still out today, something seems to be up...could the locations be booked for private events?

Yep. Tried it this morning, but not 4am this morning like I did last week....:surfweb:

You would think they'd be able to tell us if it was a private event or something.

Last Wednesday was my 90 day ADR day. I called at 7 am and I asked for Chef Mickey for this day also (it was 90 + 5) and was told she could find nothing available for dinner that day either. She then checked the day before and I got the exact time I wanted.

I really do not have any idea or information BUT it just dawned on me that AUg 4 is the supposed opening of BLT at the Contemp- maybe there is some type of private event on the 2nd.

I am going to Chef Mickeys for breakfast tomorrow because I was persistent...it was a pain to call every day but eventually I got one! I only booked this trip 2 months ago, so there was obviously a cancellation I snagged.

:cheer2: cheering for you!

Yes, I have a suggestion. I was unable to get Chef Mickey on our arrival date back in March. I was disappointed but determined. Do this and see if it works for you. Count back from your arrival date to 45 days prior and call several times on that day. I did this and was able to get a 5:00pm dinner at Chef Mickeys. The reason this works is most people who book through Disney have to make final payment 45 days prior to arrival. Some may need to cancel or reschedule before final payment is made. Therefore, on that day there is a good chance there will be ADR cancellations. Relax and give it a try.
