Trouble Using Code

We already have a dining package, staying pool-view at AKL January 1 - 7. My TA e-mailed me yesterday and said AKL has nothing available pool-view with the new code. She said I would either have to book savannah at $100 a night more, or try another resort ... or else just pay the full price. I thought we would be able to keep our existing package at AKL, and then apply the code when it finally came out. What's going on??

The resort has to have availability. It is why you see so many threads.."are we working against ourselves". Disney only discounts a percentage of rooms based on availability when they offer the promotion. If people have booked at full price, they expect they will keep those rooms. The average person (and some of the average non-Disney Specialist TAs) don't know to keep checking on getting rates lowered. They book and are done.

Okay, I switched our pool-view room over to a savannah view room, and am saving a whopping $27. A higher priced room for less money ... can't beat that!
