Sorry that your having trouble. Might I suggest calling the AP dept. at Disneyland. They really know their business. And am sure they will be able to take care of you satisfactorily.

I spent 2 hours on the phone with Disney. Apparently, I was given a discounted price on my pass last year (I guess I bought my pass around the time of the price increase) and this is preventing me from renewing online. I am frustrated. I was told I had to go in person to renew if I wanted to use monthly payments - which I do. Problem is - I live in NORCAL and can't easily pop down south. My passes expire on 7/7. Needless to say - my frustration level is at a maximum. Grrrrrr.
Well i sure am sorry for the continuing frustration.
Have you considered allowing your current passes to expire ? then make a new purchase. That way you may pay for the monthly plan on line or in person.

Don't I lose the discounted price though? Disney sent me a card in the mail - offering easy online renewal with monthly payments and a $40 discount to renew. I was hoping they could just solve the technical issue for me. I guess they can't. Oh well. Maybe it's a sign that I shouldn't renew. I was on the fence anyway and I definitely won't do it if I can't take advantage of the monthly payments. My frustration lies with their response - just come down and renew in person. It's costs me money and time to drive down there - and it seems silly that it can't be renewed over the phone.
I see, i did not know about the discount incentive that was offered to you. Yes, it would be nice to accept the mail offer.
I do not know how many people you spoke with or that were involved with this matter, but maybe, just maybe if you may speak with different AP reps. you might be able to find satisfaction. It would not hurt to give it a try tomorrow. I suggest either to call during a different time of day or if that does not work out (Same people) then ask for a supervisior and so on. There is always someone above the next worker.
I would take into consideration when you will use it again. It may not be worth the $40 if you are not taking another trip for say 2 months, for me I would let it expire if I was not going to use it immediately so I would get the longest use out of it.
Minnie is right, the $40 renewal discount may not be such a value if your next trip to DLR won't be for a while after your current AP expires. It is worth doing the math to figure out how much you will save by letting your current pass expire and then buying a new AP when you make your next trip. If the savings is more than $40, just buy a new pass on your next trip.

You know - you are right. And I don't know why I didn't think of it that way. I guess I was caught up in not being able to renew online, etc. It definitely will cost me more than $40 to go down there and renew in person. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. I posted on the forum trying to find out of anyone else had the same issue - but really, it doesn't matter! Thanks again.
