Trouble renewing AP online

My AP expires on December 5th, a few days before my December trip this year. Over the past couple of days, I've tried to renew it online, but it keeps coming up as an invalid AP...which it isn't, as it's not expired yet. So, I have some questions:

Has anyone else had trouble renewing their AP's online lately? If so, how did you remedy the situation?

Is there a way to renew by mail? The only forms I can find on the AP website are for SoCal residents (which I wish I still was, *sigh*, for so many reasons besides ease/price of renewing an AP, but I digress...)

I've read here that Disney has been sending AP holders an email when it's time to renew, that includes a $20 discount; I have not received one, and it's less than a month til mine expires. About how many days before the date of expiry did you get your renewal email?

I received my renewal e-mail on 10/27 and the expiration date of my AP is 11/25.

I didn't try to renew mine, so I can't help with the website issue, sorry.

They sent me a letter to renew by mail. I think I received that letter mid October.

I hope you get it all figured out!

Thanks for the info! Since they emailed you a couple of days after it would be the 1 month before expiry time, I'll wait a couple more days to see if I get an email. And I'll be sure to look for a letter about renewal in the mail. Thanks again

Just wait, you will get the email, and if you don't you can renew your AP when you visit the park on your first day in Dec. They will have your AP info on file and you get a new AP and barcode anyway.

I didn't get mine in the mail at all this time for me or my son, plus I couldn't renew online. I found the pdf form online to mail in and we just got our passes in the mail today, glad it worked!
