Trouble getting through to MS today

Has anyone else had trouble getting through to them today? I've been calling since 9:45am and it's been busy ever since.

I've had the same problem with the 800 number. I tried the local number instead, and got right thru. There was a 10 minute wait once I got in, so I didn't stay on.

ETA: And now I can't even get thru on the local line either...

Same problem here. It has been awful today. Everyone must be making their early december trip ressies.

I managed to get through on the 1-800 number, but it was going to be a 15 minute wait. I was at work, so I had to hang up. Subsequent calls have resulted in busy signals.

Last week when I called, I kept getting a busy signal too.

I just got through finally after trying twice at work, I was on hold at least 15 minutes just to be told to fax a voided check to the fax number on my statement. Why can't they give that info on the statement. One sentence is all it would take:
"If you would like to sign up for direct debt please fax a copy of a voided check to 000-000-0000." How annoying!

It's always busy this time of the year - lots and lots of members making their early December reservations day by day for thier home resorts.

Probably won't slow down much until February.

Monday's are usually difficult to get through. And this time of year even worse. A lot of people make their vacation plans over holidays and weekends.

It took me all day to get through, there was either always a 15+ minute hold time or the lines were busy. I finally got through about 5:00 to book a last minute long weekend trip in Feb for just DH & me - NO KIDS!!!!! I was able to get 2 of the 3 nights I wanted @ BWV and the other @ SSR. I'm on waitlist for BWV though - keeping my fingers crossed.

I had trouble getting through and finally did on the 800 number. Both were busy this morning. The CM told me most of her calls were for summer vacations not Dec. I was finishing our Dec trip and making a ADR for later this month.

I couldn't get through as well. I actually thought there was something wrong with my phone. I can't remember the last time I heard a busy signal.

I tried off and on all day. I finally got through.....at 5:35 EST. Guess I'll have to try again.

I finally got through, I've been trying since yesterday morning, on the local number. Checked dates enough points make reservation and the computer system freezes up After 32 minutes on the phone, no reservation because the system went down. Told to call back later

I have been trying to call the last 2 days and i get a BUSY signal!! ( so i thought, ok, it is a Monday) so i called today and got BUSY signal AGAIN for the last 1/2 hour and then when i finally got through, i have to be on hold for up to 50 mins!!!

I never (owning DVC since 1997) had this problem!!

I tried to call a few time and got busy signals, but tried again and got through-I was on hld for about 13 minutes...got what I wanted so I didn't mind!

I got through a few minutes ago with about a 7-8 minute wait.

Very nice CM -- fast, competent, professional, friendly. But she did say they were BUSY! I didn't tie her up with chit-chat, 'cause I knew some of you were steaming on hold!

I tried this morning on the 800# for about 20 min getting only a busy signal. DH suggested the local #, which picked right up, stating "up to a 15 min wait." So I sat on hold in hopes that the 15 min would be true...25 min later I was disconnected! UGH!!!!

So now after 12 min on hold, I was able to get my 1st two days of our reservation for Dec. 2008~

Not too bad this time!

I called a number of times this morning and got the busy signal. Finally I called and was told "at-least 25 min hold time," but was able to talk to someone long before that.

Made my changes for March trip and booked September trip to AKV. Although I was not able to get studio concierge.
