Trouble getting on

Anyone else having trouble logging on to vmk? It keeps saying my connection was lost so I don't know what's wrong

I started doing the first quest today when I really started feeling the lag. When it came to playinga game of pirates to continue the quest, I quit the quest. I have never done that before. I eventually just signed out of vmk until just before closing, when I jumped on to do a credit run. No lag at that time.
