trouble getting deposit back

Has anyone had any trouble getting deposit back from owner at windsor hills? The guy keeps telling me he sent a check in the mail but so far no check. It's been 2 weeks.

We deal with Vacation Central Florida and have canceled 3x over the years and have always had our deposit returned promptly. Are you dealing with an individual owner?

We booked through vrbo but have to deal with the owner to get deposit back.
