Trouble booking single night?

I’m trying to book a room for a single night (3/1) and the room I want shows as unavailable. When I search for 2 nights (including 3/1) it does show as available. Has anyone had luck calling and getting them to book a single night, if it doesn’t show as available online?

I've done this often. Disney wants multiple days or specific days booked. I've booked 3-4 night stays because that is all it would let me. I'd then call later to say I need to modify to the one night and the system wouldn't let me.

Its frustrating, but I just book the extra nights and then call and take them off. No problem anytime I have done this.
