Trouble adding tickets to app

I'm trying to prepare for our trip at the end of this month. I get an error message when I enter either of our two ticket numbers in the app. It verifies them properly (different error when I entered one incorrectly) but it won't let me save it. Any ideas on what is wrong?

I want the ability to add MaxPass without being slowed down with this problem when we get there.
Thanks!

I wish I knew the answer. I have never had that problem. Where did you get the tickets? I would consider calling Disney and asking unless someone around here has seen this before.

Have you done the normal app stuff? Delete it, turn off your phone, re-download the app, try to add the ticket to a different Disneyland login, etc. ? If you have I concur with above it’s time to call Disneyland to make sure your tickets are ok. The app can be extraordinarily glitchy but I don’t recall hearing of this particular glitch (yet) either.

I thought you had to take the Undercover Tourist voucher to a ticket counter to get your tickets, so you would't be able to scan anything until that is done. At least, the two times that I have bought UT tickets, that's what I had to do. Other resellers, like LMT, are different.

This was def. not the case when we bought tickets in Feb 2019 for our March 2019 trip. UT sent us the tickets (actual tickets) within 12 hours (though it can take up to 24hrs) to my e-mail (as Disneyland is e-tickets only). The e-mailed tickets had a barcode. I went into the Disneyland app and scanned the barcode essentially which linked the tickets.

For WDW we had physical tickets sent to us back in 2016 though you could do e-tickets too. We also bought our Universal Orlando tickets through UT back in 2016 and they were e-tickets that we printed out. They were actual tickets.

UT, to my knowledge, sells actual tickets not vouchers.

Actually, I forgot that I got the DL tickets both times from ARES. Those had to be taken to a ticket booth, even the ones for last summer. I haven't bought UT tickets for DL. I have only bought them for WDW and UO, which were actual tickets.

Thanks for the replies. We called and were told that someone used the tickets! In fact they were using them today and the past two days. We got transferred to some department where we had to leave a message and they called us back six hours later and left us a message verifying the same thing.

When we got home from our early Easter celebration, we were wondering if someone had hacked our emails or what. Then I remembered that you still have to sign into the UT site to access the tickets...but I hadn't on my phone that morning...hmm. I asked my husband to sign in and look at the tickets and low and behold, he had different numbers. Whew. They worked just fine.

I finally figured out that somehow I accessed my tickets from two years ago which WERE used on 4/18, 4/19, and 4/20. All day I was thinking about someone walking around DL using our tickets, and it turns out it was US-- 2 years ago! Not that it's Disney's fault, but it would have saved us stress all day if they told us the tickets were used in 2017. All's well that ends well!

Great that it ended well! Sounds like some upsetting hours for sure... this could very well be me... and after some kind of panic sets in it is basically over and you just don’t think about checking the „obvious“!

But that reminds me to delete last years tickets before I‘ll buy the new ones...still have them saved on my desktop as well as in the cloud... and I might not even „pre load“ them into the app so I would be standing at the turnstiles in full panic mode...:rolleyes2
so thanks for the reminder and I am glad for you that it worked out and you don’t have any problems to deal with...

Thank you! Feeling a little silly :upsidedow
