Tropicana Store

Will be staying at the Tropicana in March. I see from another post here that it has a store in it. I was going to do grocery delivery from Albertson's but does the store have reasonable prices on water, drinks, snacks, etc? I hate spending $3 a bottle in the park and it's hard to keep everyone hydrated on a budget that way.

So should I order from Albertson's ($13 delivery fee), use the hotel store or is there a better option?

It's been a few years since we stayed at the Tropicana, but in our experience most of the mini-mart stores at the hotels along Harbor Blvd are way overpriced. You are paying for the convenience.

You will be paying around $2.10 a botter. Its still a bit over priced, but not as bad as if you were gonna purchase in the park. I usually go bring several bottles of water with me in my luggage and put them in the hotel fridge to cool. This saves some money on Vacation for sure.

The store has some decent prices for their goods, but its convenient so its not going to be perfect, but you will still save some money there if you buy before going to the park. Personally though I have never used Albertsons. Its always just been me and my boyfriend who have been to DL and we usually eat light. I would totally suggest if there are lots of you going to the park that looking into delivery maybe cheaper.

The prices are better than DL but still pretty high. What I suggest is hitting Target your first day, grabbing a case of water and keeping it in your room. Then just refill your bottle during the day in the Baby Care Center, First Aid or any of the places that have water spouts. That's what we do, but we drive. If you won't have a car do the delivery from Albertsons or Von's or something like that.

If it is just water you are wanting and you have a Costco card, you can oder a case of water for $6.97 wich includes shipping. You can find it under the "business" section then "break room"

If is more than water you are wanting, Vons used to offer free shipping on your first order with a $50 minimum.
