Tropicana Disney Executive Suite Room Question

Has any adult size person slept on the sofa bed before? I have two boys ages 16 and 9 that I was hoping would sleep on this sofa bed and I wanted to know if it would work for them. My 16 year old is 6 ft tall.

Also any comments good or bad regarding this hotel would be appreciated. We have reservations here and Desert Inn and Sutes C2 room. Trying to decide which hotel would be better for us. Tropicana is $300 less for our whole stay.

I don't know about Tropicana yet, we are booked to stay there in 3 weeks.

We stayed at the Desert Inn and Suites a few years ago.

It is very plain, rooms are decently clean.
Pool is indoor and was small and kinda smelly!
Breakfast was cereal, fruit, pastries. Not great, but ok.
The price was great!
Location is great (same as Tropicana)
The bathroom bugged me because to keep the light on, it made the fan go on, so you couldn't leave the light on all night (I like to have a little light when I sleep, with the door cracked an inch) but not a huge deal!
Definitely not a fancy hotel, but good enough to sleep and shower!

Have you looked at the Camelot Inn? Same management as Tropicana and only two doors down, next to McDonalds. I am considering them for our November trip because they have a family suite with 2 queens in the bedroom then one king and a sofa bed in the living room. The price seemed pretty reasonable, about on par with the executive suite at Tropicana. Check them out on Cheaptickets.com for the 20% discount!
