Tropical Storm Isidore - Travel Update
Miami - September 18, 2002 - Royal Caribbean International is altering the itineraries of four ships, Explorer of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas, Monarch of the Seas, and Rhapsody of the Seas, due to the projected path of Tropical Storm Isidore.
The safety and comfort of our guests and crew members are always Royal Caribbeans foremost concern.
Royal Caribbean is closely monitoring the path and progress of Tropical Storm Isidore to ensure all guests and crew members can enjoy a safe and pleasurable cruise experience, and our ships steer clear of the storm.
Explorer of the Seas will cancel its scheduled port call in Cozumel, Mexico, on September 19, spend the day at sea, and add a port call in Nassau, Bahamas, on September 20, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Voyager of the Seas will cancel its scheduled port call in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, on September 19, and in Cozumel, Mexico, on September 20. On September 19, the ship will now make a port call in Labadee, Hispaniola, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ship will spend the day at sea on September 20, and will now make a port call in Nassau, Bahamas, on September 21, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Monarch of the Seas will cancel its scheduled port call in Costa Maya, Mexico, on September 19, spend the day at sea, and add a port call in Coco Cay, Bahamas, on September 20, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Rhapsody of the Seas will cancel its scheduled port call in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, on September 19, and spend that day at a port call in Belize City, Belize, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All other Royal Caribbean ships are sailing their normally scheduled itineraries.
Royal Caribbean will continue to closely monitor Tropical Storm Isidore and provide updates as necessary.
