We're ready to leave tomorrow for a short trip. Arrive Thursday night, come home Sunday evening. Depending on which forecast you look at Dorian could hit wdw on Saturday through Monday. Any suggestions for how we should change our trip or what to do? Our airline will let us reschedule for free, but I don't know about nonrefundable Disney tickets or the Disney hotel. I also hate to cancel if it's just going to rain..... So confused.

Still to early to call. If it doesn’t hit until Sunday or Monday, we may not get an accurate track until Friday. The longer you can wait to take action, the more accurate the information will be. It just depends on your comfort level if you arrive and it’s a worst case scenario.

Big differences between the 0z GFS and Euro - GFS has Dorian curving up the coast for a glancing blow to Cape Hatteras while the Euro has a double landfall, hitting south Florida just north of Miami and crossing over into the gulf only to curve and cross Florida a second time and up into Georgia and South Carolina. Regardless, it looks like Florida will get a lot of rain from Dorian. Seems people in FL should be prepared for just about any scenario at this point. Intensity forecasts still vary widely too. Minimum Cat 1 and max of Cat 4, obviously dependent on how long it stays over the warm gulf stream waters.

I would just go and roll with the punches. and be prepared that you may need to stay additional nights if your flight on Sunday is cancelled.
