DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY PICTURES. ON THEIR WEBSITE THEY ONLY SHOW THE OUTSIDE OF THE CABINS.I ALSO SEARCHED A COUPLE OF OTHER SITES AND FOUND NOTHING.I WAS WONDERING WHAT THE INSIDE LOOKED LIKE

Email them from the website and they send you a brochure that has pictures. I got mine in a couple of days.

I requested a brochure from the website and it arrived but didn't give any more info than the website. Other than the layout of the room (which on the website) it had no interior pictures. I would love to see them as well if anyone has any.

just bumping up as I would like to see some real photos too

I'd like to see too. I always think it's strange when places don't show interior photos, particularly since Tropical Palms has a good reputation.

I'm planning on staying at the tropical palms in 3 weeks (May 9-15). I will be happy to take some pictures and then attempt to post them for you to see... Keep your eyes on the board and I will post when they are ready...

I too was concerned about no pictures of the inside... but I've seen some really good reviews. Also, my in-laws just came back from Disney last week... I had them drive through the place to look around... they said the outside and public facilities looked really, really nice (however they didn't go inside).

I'm excited... only 3 weeks to Disney!

Thanks happymom2 ,Hope u have a great time and will be waiting for reveiw and photos .I too always thought it was strange there are no inside photos anywhere

I don't have any pics but I can tell you we checked this place out in December. My parents had just bought an RV and wanted something added on to it so my Dad made plans to have it done in Kissimmee and they took us all down there for a surprise last minute trip. Dad was hoping to stay at Tropical Palms since Ft. Wilderness was all booked up. Tropical Palms was booked as well so we stayed at Sherwood Forrest which is just about a 1/4 mile down from Tropical Palms. We drove through TP to check it out and it did look very nice. For what it's worth though, Sherwood Forrest was just as nice for a fair amount less. They also have park homes available so it may worth checking them out if you are looking to save a little bit of extra $! Neither was the nicest campground I've ever seen but both were nice and clean. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at either place again should Ft Wilderness not have any RV spaces available next time we go with them. :)

Hi - I just wanted to let you all know that I saw someones real live photos from Tropical Palms .. and chatted with the person who took them .. of course none are of the just the cabins and they all have her kids and other assorted family members in the but she explained the layout to me .. they look and sound plenty big - much bigger then a hotel room and the lofts look really cool.. I also saw some pictures of the pool and it look like the kids were having fun ( even without a slide! ) I can't wait till Oct to try it myself and I will try to remember to take some Cabin only pictures inside and out and have my mom scan them for posting here.. Michelle

We stayed there only one night on our trip last week just to check it out for the future. We stayed in a studio cabin which had 2 double beds and a pull out couch. It has a micro, dishwasher, stove, toaster oven, all cooking stuff, decent size bathroom but the best part was the deck with the table and chairs. It was great to just hang out on the deck. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage girls with lots of stuff and we had plenty of room. The cabins are nice enough, they do show their wear, but for $55.00/night it was a great deal. We actually went to check out the campground in case FW was booked. It's nice enough, but it's not worth the drive from MA to stay there in the pop-up if FW is booked. Tropical Palms is a nice campground, but FW is a resort and a vacation in itself.

I'm a month late, but I've got some pictures of our cabin from 2001 posted. They are at:

http://www.geocities.com/dydrmr81/tropicalpalms

They're kind of small and hard to see but will give you some idea hopefully. :D

editted: ok, so the site isn't working. I'll try to upload the pictures to a different site and post it tomorrow or sunday. :(

Hi - I was able to click the link -- Thanks - was that a Studio or 2 Bedroom.. I can't wait to stay there !!! Michelle

Thanks for taking the time to post your photos. Gives us a much better idea than their website.
Couple of questions...
What size cabin was that?
How were the laundry facilities?
What where the grounds like for kids?

Oh good, I'm glad some of you were able to see the pictures! It seems that sometimes they work and sometimes they don't  My BF is supposed to be putting them on his website so they can be bigger and will always work :D I wish the Tropical Palms website would post more pictures of their cabins/grounds.

To answer your questions - our cabin was actually different from the rest of them. We were told that it was the only cabin with that layout. It didn't have a loft and had 1 seperate bedroom. So, it was neither a studio or a two bedroom. I'd say the layout, especially the kitchen, was most like the 2 bedroom, except we only had 1 bedroom. Spacewise I'm not sure which it was more like, but it did have a ton of room. When we go back in January we are getting a studio (for 2 of us). I am thinking about requesting the same cabin we had before since the layout was so cool and the location was perfect...

We actually didn't get a chance to check-out the laundry facilties. We don't have kids, but the resort was very kid-friendly - the majority of the people there had children, but it was surpisingly very quiet (except for the pool). I would think the cabins would be perfect for kids. They can run around in the cabin and you don't have to worry about them disturbing anyone in the room below, and the kids I saw loved the porches :D There is a kiddie pool in addition to the big pool (which is nice, but nothing spectacular a la Disney) and a playground for them as well.

I can't wait to go back. I loved staying there - the atmosphere is just so cool, and you can't beat the price! Please let me know if you have any more questions! I know how difficult it was for me to find info. on this resort before we went the first time!

I was looking at the website and it seemed to say the studio or the two bedrooms could accomidate 4 adults and 4 children. I see where the adults would go but in both cases it looks like 4 kids need to sleep on a sofabed. Is there a murphy bed or something I'm missing? Thanks.

I think far as the studio is concerned it has a 2 doubles, a sofa bed and a loft bed . That would be 8 .. ( i understand the 2 bedroom has the same amounts of beds but there is a door to the bed room vs the studio the beds are just in the main room to one side ) someone correct me if I am wrong.. Michelle

Thank you for the pictures! I'm just getting ready to book 2 cabins for November. Normally it's just my DH, DS7 & myself, but this year my MIL, FIL, BIL & SIL are coming, too. I'm in charge of the reservations. It's more difficult when others are coming along because I want to please everyone. Your pictures helped me make up my mind. Thanks again.

STILL WAITNG TO SEE PICS OF SLEEPING AREAS.DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY HAVE SHUTTLE BUSES TO PARKS ?
