It figures....while browsing and finding more info about Charley...I come across the newest development in the water....TD #5. If it makes it to the naming stage...Earl...Here is the projected path at this point in time....Looks an AWFUL lot like Charley....

This is pretty much Charleys path...

I have been keeping my eye on this one also. They mentioned it yesterday and said it was taking the same path so far as Charley did. I certainly hope it changes course.

It could possibly go left and go towards Louisiana or Texas.

I know this is when we will be driving back, so I hope the depression peters out.

I saw TD#5 on Thursday while loooking at Bonnie and Charley. Haven't bothered putting too much stuff back at GF's house. I'll probably wait until next week and see what happens.

It was just upgraded to Tropical Storm Earl. Expected to reach Hurricane status by Monday.

:( :( :(

This whole time #4 (Danielle) was behind Earl, somewhere neat Africa, last I heard.

4 I believe wasn't a threat to the U.S. but not sure if it's still around.

Tropical depression #5 is now tropical storm Earl. It is expected to be south of Cuba on Thursday. Let's hope Earl dies a quick death!

I remember someone on the Weather Channel saying way back in the beginning of the year that they predicted this year to be an exceptionally busy hurricane season, so far, they are right!

Let's hope Earl doesn't cause a repeat of yesterday.

So far this season, every numbered depression has turned into a named storm, and 4 of those named storms have developed into hurricanes.

:( :(

Remind me not to plan next year's vacation for August! :(
