Tron accessible seat

For those that have ridden Tron and a member of your party needed the accessible seat, did you ride with them? Or are you separated? Could you ask to ride with them if you wanted too?

You can ride with them if you ask (based on the reports and videos I've seen from CM previews).

In fact I'm fairly certain anyone can request that seat whether you technically "need" it or not. You just have to wait a bit longer.
