Tritons/Wonder

Wow, there's really nothing there that appeals to me. Guess I won't be eating at Triton's for embarkation lunch.

Not as hectic as Cabanas. I think will be nice for families with older/wheelchair and such.

Cabanas it is then. I really enjoyed the buffet with table service for drinks. Oh well. Thanks for sharing. Now we wont waste our time checking on that.

Looks great! I actually think the menu sounds good. Our first Wonder cruise is in March, and I think my husband and I will prefer this to the buffet.

I wonder if they change up the menu like they do for the rest of the sit down lunches at Triton's or if that menu the PP posted is the same for every embarkation.

Wow, this is a very basic menu. Seems like it has less choices than the typical Triton lunch menus.

Thanks for posting though, @Weedy!

We were there in December and loved it. Much nicer than Parrot Cay, and the sirloin was awesome. Kids enjoyed it too. We do it because we have a kid with food allergies and it is easier to accommodate him in the MDRs than Cabanas.

Has anyone heard if Fantasy will do this too?
The Fantasy (as well as the Magic & Dream) has a dining room with a buffet area. The Wonder lost her dining room with a buffet (Parrot Cay) when it was changed to Tiana's.

I don't think any of the other ships will be changing to a sit down lunch meal on embarkation because of that.

It was the exact same menu on our 12/30/16 sailing.

FWIW, I liked the empanadas enough (not stellar, but fine, not too spicy/adventurous - I would have liked them more if they were) and actually quite liked the pasta. The other 3 adults had the beef and were very pleased with it. The cookies-n-cream cheesecake ended up being one of DS8's favorite desserts of the cruise. They had a nice fresh fruit salad available for dessert if you asked too.

I'm unbelievably happy about this. I never really like much at the embarkation lunch, and I'm a germaphobe anyway so buffets always ick me out a bit. Can't wait to load up on potato leek soup and coffee in a couple weeks!

I prefer table service with embarkation..... I hate looking for a free table while trying to balance my food while dragging my carry-on as my room isn't ready.

Meh. They don't even list the burger with the great steak fries (seems the only place to get those on the ship).

Am I the only one missing the PC buffet? I know it was the same food as upstairs but Deck 9 just gets so crazy, especially on the first day. Maybe the station and seating redesign has made things better? PC always seemed more relaxed just about anytime.

I wonder if they will let me sneak a plate for my son in from Cabanas while I enjoy a nice pasta dish..
