My firend wanted to know how manouverable a triplet stroller is at WDW? She is going with her mom who also has a mobility issue so she will take her 2 year old triplets in their stroller in May.
How doable is this? Anyone have any experience?

is it 3 wide or behind each other, but in my opion I would take it because it would be eaiser to have them all "strapped" safely in the stroller than chasing them in the park!

It's long and skinny and they sit one in front of the other. They do have a triple babyjogger but it is very wide!!!

Having done a double several times I would say, the long skinny one is definitely the way to go. She'll need to just be a tad more careful and allow plenty of time (ie. no commado mode)! LOL

Taking two year old triplets to WDW? Wow, I couldn't do it, that's for sure! She's a very brave woman!

I'd also go with the long, narrow stroller. The wide one probably wouldn't fit well through doorways, into restaurants, etc.

Perhaps she could get some signs made - one for the front of the stroller and one to put on her back 'Long Vehicle'.

I'd also go for the one-in-front not the side-by-side, but she'll have to work out a rota for the children so they all get to be in front some of the time!

Not many of the restaurants allow you to bring a stroller into the restaurant. You'll have to carry or walk the triplets into the restaurant. You'll find stroller parking outside the restaurant.

Buses will the the hardest for her. She will have to take the kids out of the stroller and fold it. Sometimes you have to do that on the boats and monorail as well.

I also have triplets. Im not sure where she is staying (on/off) and which stoller she has, but only 2 triplet strollers fold up. If she doesnt have this stoller (jmason/ baby trend) If she has a different stroller she will really need to rent a car, as the other strollers either dont fold or need to be dissassembled and you cant get on the bus with the stoller open. I also know that my triple stroller is a pain and I can't imagine pushing it around disney unless it is the runabout . Is anyone else going could they use a single and a double, or maybe a double and a child leash and alternate who gets to walk?

I have triplets who are 8. I can't imagine trying to get a stroller, mobility issue grandmother, and three two year olds on a bus. If your stroller doesn't collapse I don't have any options for that. We have done disney with a double stroller that we rent in the parks so we have more mobility on the bus. We took our own stroller the first time and found it sometimes impossible to get everyone and the stroller on an already partially full bus. It's easier just having the kids to get off and on. They take turns riding and walking. I think the double stroller is the best way to go. If grandma needs a wheelchair the one that is walking could help by holding on to the chair or help mom push the stroller. I think you will be busy but it will be a great time.

I don't know about using it for WDW, but overall I have had great luck with the runabout triplet stroller. But I can see a problem with bringing it on a Plane or Bus, it's hard enough fitting it in our Van! If anyone has suggestions for that I think all Parents of Triplets would benefit!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We saw someone using a triplet stroller at WDW on our last trip. I don't know the brand, but it was a long skinny one with sort of industrial looking plastic seats. So it has been done!

we saw loads of sets on triplets in the parks last week - I actually commented to my husband about it. I do think a rental car would be much easier than trying to manage the bus with a big stroller - we saw mainly front to back strollers and they seemed to be coping ok

I have 4 year old triplets and I have the Peg Pegro stroller where you have to take all the seats off (and they stay like seats )and then the stroller folds down. It is a total pain and it is heavy. You would never be able to take a bus and carry all the pieces, all your stuff and the triplets. Also, the stroller is very hard to turn and you are always in the way. You could take your own car or rent doubles. Believe me, I went through all the possible options of taking the triplet stroller and it just didn't work for our family. I also have 6 year old twins. We went this past June and they all walked. We only went to the parks for 2-3 hours at a time and stayed at the Polynesian so it worked for us. We figured if it didn't work out we could always rent a double stroller and give them breaks walking. I would not recommend walking triplets any younger than 4.

Good luck and be glad you have your mom to help you. You'll figure out what works best for you and have a great time.
