Yes, we are a bit wacky but we are planning on a triple stay- 3 rooms in 10 days and need a bit of advice.....

We are headed down on a saturday and staying at OKW in a 2 bedroom suite for family reunion (other members of fam staying in Grand villa). Most of the family (including DVC owner, aunt) is leaving on Thursday, and we (DH, kids, grandma and grandpa) are moving to AOA Cars suite for the next part of stay.- Thursday-Saturday...THEN- grandma and grandpa are leaving and DH, kids and I will have two days on our own- we havent decided where to stay yet.

We spend most of the time in the parks, switching from lots of space (2 bedroom villa, then cars suite, then???) to little space doesnt matter much to us. Since we extended the trip and added on two extra days, unless a nice discount comes out I'm thinking we stay in a value resort so-

Would you stay at AOA and move to a little mermaid normal room (we dont want to stay in the suite again- that much space isnt needed for our family of four with two small kids), or switch it up and move over to POP (never stayed there before and always wanted to try it)

Either way we have to pack up and move our belongings- just didnt know what most would recommend.

Wouldn't do all that! You do realize that you will have to be out of a room by 11 am and you cannot get in to your new room until 3 or 4 pm. It will require unpacking and repacking three times as well. I would definitely just stay put at OKW or do OKW and AoA in the suite and only have the two resorts. That is a lot of stress and work to deal with on vacation!

I guess the easiest way would be to stay at same resort they might be able to make room switch as close as possible but if you really want to try pop then go for it I believe bell services will take your luggage to new hotel room so you won't have to move everything to new resort this type of thing doesn't bother me so i say go for what you want.

We did a tri-stay last summer. 3 nights AoA Nemo suite, 4 nights BCV, 3 nights AKL Kidani. No big deal. We dont completely unpack we live out of suitcases and the bell staff moves our luggage for us while we go to a park. its not like we are sitting there between 11 & 3 doing nothing waiting for a room. We go about our day and when ready we head over to the new resort and check in. This year we are doing only 2 resorts (WLV & BCV). But if it were between AoA & pop, Id definitely pick AoA, everything was a cut above Pop there.

I would switch to Pop, yes it's another time packing up, but if you planned your moving day as a non park day, you would llitterly just have to walk across the bridge, just pack a small back pack with swimsuits, take it easy in the morning, give your luggage to them, then walk across and enjoy your new pool. Course I'm currently on a mission to stay at as many of Disney's hotels as possible so have a 3 way split planned in 2 wks.

I would go to Pop. Get it off the list :)

We love split stays and they are so easy! I would pack 3 separate bags - 1 for each portion of the stay. Then one of you cab to the new place with the luggage, have them store it, get you checked in, and the rest of you leave from the old place and head to the park of your choice that day - meet the checker-inner at the park. It's SO quick and easy.

When you go back, you just request your luggage and then go unpack your 1 bag. Took maybe 30 minutes (to pack/unpack/and check in) out of our day.
