We wake up again at 7:15!!! We shower and call bell services. We will pick up a rental car at the Dolphin, so we store our luggage until after breakfast. We take a taxi to the BC for our breakfast at the Cape May Buffet.
DS sees Minnie and tries to run right up to her. We hold him back b/c there is a line and he cries!! You just can't explain to a 15 month old to wait his turn! Finally, it's his turn and he runs up and gives Minnie the biggest hug. Everyone in line with us ooohs and aaahs. She poses him on her knee and we take a few pictures. Then, he won't get off!! He gives her some more hugs and then we pry him away from her!! Magical Memory Moment!!!
We get seated and enjoy another great meal. We ate at the Cape May buffet several times when we stayed at the YC. It is now our tradition to spend our last Disney morning at this character meal. DS sees Dale from way across the room and starts to giggle. The characters make their way over and we get more pictures and lots of hugs. Then, we walk over to the Dolphin where we pick up our rental car from National. We're driving to the West Coast to meet DH's parents for the remainder of our vacation.
We had a short, but very fun filled trip. We expected extremely large crowds due to it being peak season, but we were pleasantly surprised. We used fastpasses when necessary and that seemed to make all the difference. DH actually said that we should return in the fall before our annual passes expire. Usually it's me suggesting a vacation to Disney! I think I've got him hooked! Thanks for reading!
