Here we are everyone!!! It is October!! I can't believe that the year is almost over already. Month #10. That's just crazy. We have had an incredible year as a team! The miles, the hours, the teamwork and the support. The way that this team has come together is incredible! I love being a part of this unity! I love the interaction. Let's get that back as much as we can. Marathon training should have begun for most of the ones that are going. Post. Talk. Share. Motivate. Encourage. Let's be there for our teammates during this process. Let's take it to a new level and be there for one another.

I love all of you for all of your support and your efforts! As a team, we can finish strong and have a great year and then do things Marathon Weekend that we can't even imagine as of now.

Let's have a GREAT month team!

Hey Triple D's, this year is flying by! I'm afraid I didn't work out much at all this past week. I am going to try and hold myself to task this week and do a little better.:goodvibes

Week ending 10-7:
80 minutes 4.5 miles

Hi Ducks! 94 days, give or take, to the half! I've started the MfM training. Wheee! Who else has started something official this week? Is there a half training thread? I need one.

September 1-7
minutes 220
miles 19

QUACK!

Ronda

I still can't believe some of the miles you Ducks put in :cheer2: It's great. I am helping out at the Newport RI marathon on the 17 & 18 this will be good motivation for Disney. I may run 20 in the race and call it a day, use it for training. I'm still getting ready for Indy on Nov 7th but yet I run half as much as Rich !!

Go Bryan with the motivation speach !! Keep it coming

Oct 1-7
30.5 miles running for 245 min

Happy Fall
Dave

Hi, Duckies!! :goodvibes

I have just updated the spreadsheet for what I have for Sept. so far.

Bryan...if you have any more to add, or Liz's totals, let me know.
I know Tricia and Big Vic are out there training...hoping not too much LTO for them. I know I've been way busy with a crazy work/fun/travel schedule. But ramping up the running...Goofy is getting close! :scared1:

Will start putting in the October totals after my run tonight.

Lisa (eyor44?)...per your question about the spreadsheet before...you should be able to view it, but not access it for input. That is to encourage people to post, and so I don't screw up all the crazy calculations I have going in there. (I'm still learning spreadsheets). Do you want a color for your line? If you or anyone else does (I have a few, just to keep things straight), let me know and tell me what color.

My totals are lower, since I'm not on the bike much...but trying to be steady with the run build and not get injured.

Jenn...glad you got caught up with Sept!

Carry on! Make it work! all that jazz!! :rotfl:

Hello Ducks! Here are my totals for the first week of October. I have 102 miles, and 6 hours, 20 minutes. That is 100 miles on the bike and 2 miles running. I was going to do a duathlon last Sunday but found out the entry list was filled, so missed out. Maybe because it was the last race of the series, the month before the same race had half the entries and there were quite a few day-of's showing up. I am glad I checked the website before I drove all the way into the city!

I hope to do a duathlon this Sunday (an off-road one), and one the following Sunday, and then it is the ToT.

Betsy, I also have trouble viewing the spreadsheet, the link takes me too a log-in page, of which I do not know the password.

Hope everyone has a good week! Keep moving!

Augie

Only running for me this week...but feeling pretty good about it. Will have to add in a little bike time to rest my legs as we get closer to Marathon weekend! 3 months!

For Oct. 1-7,
23.1 miles running (includes double miles for 5K I ran on Sunday)/ 3:40 hours

Keep those posts coming!
And...if there are any stragglers with Sept. mileage, let me know....we were just shy of 20,000 miles as of Sept. 30, with I know a few more people to report, so I am sure we will really be over 20,000! Super!:cool1:

Sorry I am running behind with posting my totals. My totals for Sept. 22 - 30 were:

Distance: 48 miles (includes Biking)
Duration: 410 minutes

Totals for Oct. 1 - 7
Distance: 34 miles
Duration: 250 minutes

Oct 1-7th:

mins: 220
miles: 30 (includes doubling my 10k race this past sat!)

Ran my best time yet in my 10k! I need to get my butt in gear and start running longer distances again.

First week of the month is over and all I can say is that everyone is doing a fantastic job!!! What an awesome effort all of you have put in. I wish my numbers were near where they are supposed to be but I have had a few setbacks this past week, including a minor injury to the outside of my right leg. Feeling better but still tender. I am hoping by staying off of it as much as possible this weekend, that it will aid in the healing process. The good news is I do have 5k that I will be doing at the end of the month. Here are my totals for the week.

Miles - 55
Hours - 7

Told you it was a slow week.

Betsy I will try to get some numbers from Liz in the next day or so, if possible. I know that she has been down and out sick this past week with some believed food poisoning.

Sounds like we are off to a great start this month and a fantastic year. Let's see what we can do to take these numbers to over 25,000 miles for the year!! That would be awesome!!!!

Have a great weekend everyone!
Bryan

Yes I have been out there training but I have just been lazy and not reported them. I will get my missing miles together and post them sometime this weekend. I did a 5k this morning and did better than I had thought I would - 35:37 but that isn't my best time. Its my first race of the season so I am feeling good although getting a little nervous that the Goofy is getting closer. YIKES

Glad to hear everyone is getting their training in.

Yep....I knew you were out there, running around somewhere!! Been thinking about you!
Good job on the 5K!
Hope to hear from you again soon!

Hey everyone. I was going to stop and drop a line and let you know my update. I went to my Chiropractor today to see what was going on with my leg. Well, the word is a severely sprained fibula on my right leg. The only thing I can do now is ice it and rest it before getting back out there again. I can still get on the bike some but not near what I would like to do. But this could be a good thing to give my body a break for a while. I will still be around posting my miles and loving my team. Hope all is going well for all of you this week!!

Love you guys!
